The name you actually go by — this is what we'll call you.

Houston Heights Therapy provides therapy for adults 18 and older. We aren't able to take on clients under 18 at this time, and we want you to reach someone who can help rather than wait on a list. Psychology Today's directory lets you filter for therapists in Houston who work with children and teens, and your insurance provider's member services line can give you in-network options. If you are in crisis, call or text 988.

We don't currently offer family therapy, but we're happy to point you toward someone who does.

Couples work begins with a separate 80-minute individual session with each partner, focused on the relationship and what each person brings to it. From there we meet together. Every session — each individual intake and every joint session — is 80 minutes at $150.

Couples therapy is offered by Hannah Drury, Ron Youngblut and Thunder Chen.

Couples therapy is self-pay only, so it can't be requested with insurance selected as your payment method. Choose Self-pay / out of pocket below and Couples becomes available again.

Both partners are entitled to a written Good Faith Estimate of expected costs, and each estimate needs a date of birth. We need your partner's details to send them theirs.

Couples therapy is self-pay only. Insurance does not cover relationship work unless one partner is given a mental health diagnosis, and we don't diagnose one person to make a couple's care billable. Paying directly keeps the work focused on the relationship.

Self-pay has been selected for you, and the insurance option is unavailable while Couples is your therapy type.

We're in network with Aetna, BCBS Texas, and Cigna only. If your plan isn't one of those, we're considered out of network — but you still have options: our self-pay rate for individual therapy starts at $120 per session (55 min), and for individual therapy we can provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. We'll walk you through it.

Couples therapy is self-pay only and does not require benefits verification.

If you have Medicare or Medicaid, please reach out to us before booking so we can talk through your options.

Optional — fill this in and we'll verify your benefits and email you an estimate of your cost per session before your first appointment. Skip it if you don't have your card handy; we can collect it later.

Insurance requires the name on your policy. We'll only use it for claims — everywhere else, you're the name you gave us above.

This helps us match you with the right therapist. You're in control of what you share.

Our practice works with a scholarship program that may cover copays or full session costs depending on your coverage. Eligibility is reviewed during your consultation.

Your information is kept private and confidential. Submitting this form does not create a therapeutic relationship.
